We had such a great experience with Carlson Bros Movers when we were moving my folks from their home of 50 yrs to retirement living. Their care and patience was so appreciated, and every one of the 5-man team we had was terrific. They worked quickly but carefully and when issues arose - for example, the desk didn't fit through a door - they tried several ideas until they got it done.
Everything arrived at the new place with no damage and they worked efficiently to place all the furniture in the spots indicated on the floor plan we had. They even took some things to a storage unit for us.

If we move again, Carlson is the only moving company I would use! My wife and I have moved many times and this week we used Carlson Brothers, it took 2 days for all of our stuff. They treated our furniture as though it was their own, every piece was wrapped in blankets and taped. They were exceptionally careful with our baby grand piano. When all furniture had been placed in our new home they went room-by-room to see if we wanted to change the placement of any pieces--no other moving company has ever done this. So 8 rooms of furniture and a 100 boxes of household item moved without a scratch! Finally, the cost was very reasonable, not the lowest but absolutely the highest value for the services they provided. Don't waste your time searching the web for other movers, this is the only one you need.

Carlson moved us the day after thanksgiving - it was cold! But they did a great job. Friendly, careful, work fast and extremely conscientious. The last time we moved was almost 20 years ago and they did a great job then. It was nice to see the service is still great. Pricing is very reasonable too! The actual price was less than the estimate.

It is hard to imagine a better moving experience than we had with Carlson Brothers. They were referred to us by family, who used them for a big, complex move. Ours was a bit simpler, but we still had a piano to move and stuff coming from two different locations. They handled everything with no problem at all. They were extremely careful with all of our belongings, hardworking, and came in actually a bit under the quote.
What stood out most about them though was their professionalism. It was clear that they focus on this. Every member of the 4-person team was extremely courteous and respectful. They offered to help if they saw us doing anything, and they were happy to reposition furniture when we changed our minds. There can be some confusing social norms around movers too (tip? pay for lunch?) and they were very appreciative of anything extra we did for them, but clear that they did not expect anything.
Choosing movers can be a big decision, I would hands-down recommend Carlson Brothers.

If you're looking for professional, friendly and caring movers, Carlson is it! From the initial estimate to the final move everything was taken care of. Furniture and fragile items were wrapped carefully and unwrapped at the new house. All our belongings made it to our new home safely and undamaged. Pricing is fair and competitive and the movers worked efficiently and quietly. I would refer this company to anyone! Moving is stressful enough, it was a huge bonus to have such a great group moving us. I hope not to move again anytime soon, but if I do, I'll definitely use Carlson again!
